Support the IAM Union in Fond Du Lac

botnet supports the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Lodge 1947 in Fond Du Lac because they are willing to take a stand.  The United States produces more greenhouse gasses than anybody, and finally there is a group of people willing to make a difference.

Mercury Marine employed 800 union people.  These noble people have decided overwhelmingly to reject not only their jobs, but their daily commute.  They are presumably happier at the prospect of providing food for their families by growing "victory gardens" in their back yards, which is a much greener life than cramming all that evil greenhouse carbon into the atmosphere.  Many of us worry about our impact on the environment, and here, finally, is a group willing to make a stand.

Think of all the fish that will be saved by people not having boat motors to get to the fish faster.  Everyone knows that without the union there will be no way possible to build boat motors whose only purpose is to kill fish.  The botnet likes to equate everything with Nazi-ism, so this fits the template perfectly... the union might is akin to the Krupps Corporation refusing to build gas nozzles for the death chambers.  The Union is willing to make a stand to not participate in building death machines that are making the globe warmer and (in other places) colder.

Each person at Mercury Marine is responsible jointly and severally for global warming.  botnet can remember just nine months ago there was snow on the ground.  Snow Aplenty.  Now there is none... Who among you have the gall to deny global warming?  You must be a racist.

The union did the right thing by ending all this production and labor in FDL.  Without Mercury Marine, botnet will bet the temperature will decrease by at least 20 degrees by December.

Great work, Union guys!

botnet only wonders if you'll still be in a union a year from now.

Your unemployment will probably be a nominal help to Fondy.  You'll  not be contributing to the system financially, but by reducing your "jobliness" you have proven your concern for global warming.

Great Work.
