True American Bad Ass - MSG Roy Benavides
Meet a man who is such a bad ass that it takes President Reagan almost 5 minutes to tell the tale... then listen to the man himself tell you all the bits that got left out! MSG Roy Benavidez passed away in 1998, but his bravery, honor, and sheer fortitude will live forever. Long live Tango Mike Mike - his call sign (That Mean Mexican)Posted by Harold Whiting on Sunday, August 23, 2015

His argument is damning, and should be read by every thinking person.

And when the justice system has failed or become merely a procedural sham what then?
It's a common conceit among lawyers that our legal system is the justice system - which is not fully true: It's a justice system and a pretty good one at that but it's not the only justice system. So there's an assumption that if the legal system is manipulated and even blocked, then there's simply no recourse at all for those on the receiving end of this treatment and so they'll just accept it. Which is clearly what the above people and their allies seem to believe. Well out of the inertia of trust in the system this is true up to a point - but only up to a point.
But when that trust that justice will actually be delivered is finally broken, stoic acceptance of the jiggered results of a broken system can no longer be counted upon either. Instead you will see a reversion to the older, rougher justice delivery firmware that's embedded in our DNA and it will be ugly. But not necessarily unjust.
Given that people have had their lives destroyed for merely making a bad joke on social media, wearing the wrong shirt, answering a hypothetical question about catering incorrectly, and using the wrong ordering of words in a phrase, not to mention threatened with jail for the act of committing politics, I see no reason that Chisholm, Kluka, Lerner, and Machen who have done far worse should be able to walk the streets and go through life comfortably and carefree.
Don't blame me for this - I wasn't the one who deliberately subverted and broke the system of justice that we had."

Yours truly is the inaugural winner of the Hookers and Booze (dot com) deadpool. Yeah, that's right... Suck it, commies. I can predict everything except the stupidity of 51% of America. To the patriotic, I give you my best. To the parasitic: May your children suffer less stupidity than you. Thanks for the laughs.
And if'n you like booze, boobies, funfunfun, and America, then get your ass over to hookers and booze. They made me a winner, just imagine what they can do for you!

"What is government? What is political power?
Government is the local monopoly of physical violence. That is the most basic definition of government.
That is it. It is forcing you to behave by it’s rules.
A little mental exercise. If you do not pay your taxes what happens? A man with a gun comes and threatens you with violence. Do not follow any government dictate for long enough and you will end up with a gun pointed at you. Which is why every time you hear someone say "They should do something about X”, where "they” invariably means the government you should ask the complainer if the problem is really important enough to have someone get a gun pointed at them.
Now, what is political power at its most basic level? The ability to direct the government to do your bidding.
Is this basic enough for you to understand why the accumulation of massive political power should concern everyone, not just Conservatives?"

It is currently overcast and dreary outside, and I'm hoping like hell the rain holds off. If I don't drink too much beer I'll post photos and shit later, but if it isn't raining I'll burn wood in the backyard. And drink beer.
The rally was well attended, and I happened to meet my brother and nephew there under the TGFSW (Thank God For Scott Walker) banner. I showed a bit late due to family obligations, but compared to previous TEA Party rallies the crowd size was at least double. The takeaway: people are ginned up for the recall election, and boy howdy am I optimistic.
After the rally, I recommended a nearby dive for drinks and conversation with like-minded folks. Yeah, the Trail's End is a townie tavvie, but I know the owner. I believe he is a conservative because he's crabby, and to me it's pretty much the same thing. I made a couple friends, and came away with a sense of optimism which I previously lacked. Mark these words: Scott Walker shall serve AT LEAST eight years as Governor of the State of Wisconsin. TGFSW.

Here's a taste:
Constitution is enforced including the original meaning of abstract
clauses like the Ninth Amendment lead to the sort of horrible results
that, in part, leads Justice Scalia to be faint of heart? I think not. In my
view, the original meaning of the entire Constitution, as amended, is far
more felicitous than he apparently believes it to be. But this is partly
because I do not think the original meaning of the more general clauses
is as limited he does. In other words, an appropriate use of original
meaning originalism leads to far fewer objectionable results than he
thinks it will.

Liberals love to think of themselves as intellectual and nuanced, but liberalism is incredibly simplistic. It’s nothing more than "childlike emotionalism applied to adult issues.” Very seldom does any issue that doesn’t involve pandering to their supporters boil down at its core level to more than feeling "nice” or "mean” to liberals. This makes liberals ill equipped to deal with complex issues.
Please read the whole thing... it is true and rare.
